Dumbarton House, the only property wholly owned by The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America (NSDCA), is both home to National Headquarters offices and an accredited historic house museum. Through public tours, exhibitions and programs, the museum promotes the understanding of historic preservation and of the early history of our nation so that the lives and ideals of early Americans inspire current and future generations. Gifts to the Friends of Dumbarton House provide for exhibitions, conservation of the collection, and educational programs.
Dumbarton House serves as the national headquarters for The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America (NSCDA).
