There's Nothing Like A Dame!
On behalf of the NSCDA National Conference Committee, it is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the National Conference to be held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, St. Louis, Missouri, Friday, October 20th through Sunday, October 22nd, 2023.
We have planned a weekend full of exciting programs that will provide the opportunity to socialize and learn more about the important work of The NSCDA and our Corporate Societies. Consider arriving early so that you can enjoy an optional tour on Thursday of the village of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri's oldest town. This carefully preserved early French settlement in the Mississippi valley captures the rich history of the region.
Dames will have the opportunity to learn more about what makes St. Louis unique during Friday's optional morning trolley tours of the city. Afterwards, view the city from 630 feet above the city on the optional excursion to the Gateway Arch. In the evening, join us for a cocktail reception at The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House where you can enjoy the butterflies, full open bar, and heavy hors d'oeuvres.
Saturday morning, NSCDA National President Katherine Cammack will welcome Dames during the opening sessions of the conference, and Dr. Robert Moore, public historian, will share stories about the fascinating founding and local lore of St. Louis. After a day of educational sessions and workshops, we will enjoy a cocktail reception featuring an open bar, followed by the National Conference Dinner at the Ritz-Carlton, where we will hear from Dr. Frances Levine, Retired Missouri Historical Society Executive Director.
The National Conference will be an event you will not want to miss! All Dames and their guests are encouraged to attend.
Most Sincerely,
The Ritz-Carlton
